Standwright

A dated record of everything you seal.

Standwright doesn't store your drawings, your seal, or your credential. It stores one dated line for each time you used them — written the day you did it, locked when you save it, never edited after.

Append-only.

Entries lock the moment you save them. A correction appends as a new, linked entry instead of overwriting the original — the record shows what changed and when, not just the current state.

Yours, not your employer's.

The register follows you through a job change. It exists for exactly the moment you need a record of what you sealed and can't ask a former employer for it.

Exportable evidence.

PDF and CSV exports, chain-verified so an export can state whether the record has been altered since it was written — ready if you're ever asked what you did and when.

90-day window

Already keeping your own log?

Bring it with you. Once a license enters the register, you have 90 days to import past sealings by CSV — paste your records, map the columns, confirm.

No spreadsheet needed

No formal log to date?

No problem. Enter your past sealings by hand inside that same 90-day window — one row each, no spreadsheet to build first. Whether your records are a paper desk file or your own recollection, they belong in the register.

Why this exists

It is already happening.

Not our claim — the licensing boards'. Published notices about seals being misused, and what they ask licensees to do about it.

Each of these asks the same thing of a licensee: know where your seal has been used, and be able to show it. That is the whole job of a register.

Who built this

Made by a professional, for professionals.

Standwright is built by a practicing licensed professional engineer — someone who seals work and carries what comes with it. It exists because that record was worth keeping, and nothing kept it the way it needed to be kept.

The first register on this system is the one it was built for, and it is a real one: the same entries, the same locking, the same exports you would get. Nothing here is offered to you that is not already in use.

Your seal is your responsibility. This is your record.
